GiveKC was created as a resource to organizations which serve women and children in the Kansas City community. Our goal is to act as a central agency which gathers needed items and distributes them directly to the various groups. We hope to streamline the donation process making it easier than ever for people to give to local organizations.

You can help by donating items to GiveKC. We accept gently used clothing, baby items, toys, office supplies, new personal care items, and much more. If you have items that you would like to donate please give us a call and we will arrange a time to pick it up.

What Happens To Donations?

Your donation will be matched up with a local organization in need of the item. We distribute the items directly to the groups each month. All of our operating expenses come from the money generated from the sale of the items that cannot be donated. The sale of clothing is the primary way that we can cover our expenses. Items that cannot be donated are resold or taken to Goodwill.
